6 And also it says (in another place), ‘You are a Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek’.

SONSHIP AND PRIESTHOOD ARE LINKED TOGETHER. THE FOUNDATION OF YAHUSHA'S PRIESTHOOD IS HIS ETERNAL PHYSICAL SONSHIP. SINCE YAHUAH HUMBLED HIMSELF AND BECAME THE ETERNAL SON, HE IS ALSO THE ETERNAL PRIEST. IT'S INTERESTING HOW PAUL TAKES PSALM 110 ON THE SUBJECT OF THE PRIESTHOOD OF MESSIAH (AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK) AND INTERPRETS MANY OF THE VERSES (WORD BY WORD) WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF REVEALING THE MINISTRY OF YAHUSHA MESSIAH.

8 Though He was a Son, He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

9 Then (having been perfected), He became the author and cause for Eternal Deliverance, for all those who obey Him ...

10 Having been called by Alahim, a High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.

THE HISTORY OF MELCHIZEDEK AND THE ROYAL PRIESTHOOD

Yahuah created a Garden called Eden where Heaven and Earth were connected. Then Yahuah placed humans in the Garden to be his Royal Divine Priests to show that humans and divinity (Heaven & Earth) can work together as one ... but tragically the humans are tricked into rebelling against Yahuah and get kicked out of the Garden ... But Yahuah promises that one day a descendant will come to defeat the evil serpent (hater) and restore humanity as Royal Priests once again ... and we learnt that he will be both a Priest and a Sacrifice.

But as it stands here, humanity is still outside of Eden and things have spiraled into chaotic hatred and violence over the course of 2000 years. But from this wreckage of sin, Yahuah chooses a couple - Abraham and Sarah, calling them to journey to the land of Canaan and He promises to give them a huge family and all the blessings of Eden - BUT the blessing isn't just for them - the goal is that Yahuah's blessing flows through their family and out to all the nations. So this makes Abraham's family like a Priesthood. Abraham even meets a pre-metamorphed Yahusha (MELCHIZEDEK!)

Abraham is returning victorious from a risky battle and he passes by the city of Shalem -and this King comes out to meet him and we're told that Melchizedek is also the King of righteousness and peace - a Priest Who serves the same Yahuah that Abraham does! Yes Melchizedek is definitely a man of mystery! We aren't told why He serves Abraham's Alahim - but it's pretty obvious from what Paul tells us

(HE IS YAHUSHA OUR ALAHIM !!) ... 

So Melchizedek brings this great feast out to Abraham and his army and then He gives Yahuah's blessing to Abraham, saying that Yahuah is the One Who gave him this victory over his enemies. Then Abraham gives Melchizedek 10% of everything that he has! And that's the story of Melchizedek -  the King and Priest of Jerusalem (which will later become the capital of Abraham's future family - where the Temple was built - on the very site where Abraham offered up his son Isaac as a living sacrifice - but was stopped at the last minute) ... so Yahuah's Royal Priests will be required to make sacrifices for others.

So here is Abraham (the father of the Yisharalites) honoring a Royal Priesthood that existed long before Yisharal even existed (and certianly before any grand Temple or Levite Priesthood) ... so Melchizedek (and what He represents) is really super important.

Now let's shoot forward to Moses leading the 12 Tribes of Abraham's family into the wilderness, where they eventually come to Mount Sinai ... and here Yahuah appears to all the Yisharalites, inviting them to become a Kingdom of Royal Priests! That's right! He's inviting everyone to be Royal Priests ... just like Adam and Eve were Royal Priests in Eden. But it turns out the people are afraid of Yahuah (more like they don't want to give up their sin and be clean) ... so they don't want to come close to Yahuah's Portalled Presence up on Mount Sinai.

So Moses goes up to the top of the mountain and spends time with Yahuah, Who gives him many Instructions to live by (including the main ten commandments) and the first two of those say to love Yahuah more than anything else and not make idol statues ... and Moses sees some really amazing things up there ... first he sees Yahuah's DIVINE TEMPLE and then also a blueprint of it called 'the pattern' which are the plans for the construction of the TABERNACLE - designed as a symbolic shadow-model of Eden (a place where Heaven and Earth were connected).

Then Moses sees something else: the pattern of a glorious HUMAN FIGURE which is the High Priest who will work in the Tabernacle ... and this Royal Priest can go in and out of this special space on behalf of others. He's dressed in white, he wears a crown and is glowing with jewels - He's an image of the Royal Priest that we're waiting for and yet the man who's called to be Yisharal's first High Priest (the brother of Moses) is a man named Aaron. And while Moses was up seeing all of this ... down at the foot of the mountain, Aaron is helping the people make an idol statue of Yahuah in form of a Golden Calf.

So the (soon to be) New High Priest is breaking the first of the commandments already, so Yahuah is furious and He tells Moses that He's done with these people and he's gonna wipe them all out and start over again with Moses. But Moses stands before Yahuah and begs Him to forgive the Yisharalites, even offering his own life as a sacrifice for their sins ... and while Yahuah doesn't take Moses` life, He does forgive the people ... and so when Moses comes down from the mountain -  he's SHINING like the ROYAL PRIEST that he saw in his vision ... it's like he's the real Priest that his brother was supposed to be ... but failed.

And from here the Tabernacle is built and Aaron's family is installed to the Priesthood. But things get even worse ... Yahuah gives Aaron and his sons really precise instructions on how to behave as the Priests but they burn the wrong incense and because they're in a place of great privilege and responsibility, they are dealt with severely. Yahuah sends fire out from the Ark to frackle Aaron's son up ... right there inside the Tabernacle!

So things are not looking good for the Priesthood or Aaron - they've failed in their Priestly role and this begins to make us think 'Maybe Alahim's people need a different kind of Priesthood (one more like Moses, who surrendered his very life over to Yahuah)'. But while Moses was great, he also fails to be fully obedient to Yahuah and so both he and Aaron do not make it to the land promised to Abraham.

Moses was only an IMAGE of the kind of Priest that Alahim's people will need, and while still waiting for this ultimate Royal Priest (who will represent Yisharal like Moses and offer his own life for the failures of others) the Yisharalites eventually make it into the Promised Land and there they appoint a King and establish a Kingdom ... so perhaps now Yahuah's real Royal Priest can arrive!?

In the Promised Land, Yisharal's Priesthood becomes really corrupt and basically useless! They forget Yahuah, His Word, Commands ... and have brought in so much idolatry, rendering them powerless. So the people (wanting to make a name for themselves on the global stage) start demanding they have a King ... so eventually (after a failed attempt in King Saul) ... Yahuah speaks to a young man named Samuel and raises up David - a man who trust in Yisharal's Alahim ... and with Yahuah's help, he actually defeats Yisharal's most powerful enemy Goliath of Gath - all without proper weapons and without an army.

And not long after becoming King, David goes off into the high hills at the center of Yisharal's Tribes and establishes a Capital City (Jerusalem - Zion - City of David) and it's like a New Eden - on the same hilltop where Abraham met Melchizedek and where he took his only son of the Blood-Covenant (Isaac) and Yahuah provided a substitute sacrifice for Abraham's failures ...

David brings the Ark of Yahuah back into the city and sets up his own special Praise Tent for it - away from the official dead-head Priesthood ... so that he can make this the place of Yahuah's Royal presence. And while the Ark is being carefully carried into the city, David's 'off his face' celebrating and dancing with excitement ... and not only that ... he deliberately wears the ephod/breastplate with the 12 precious gems in them! Yes! ... he dresses like Yisharal's High Priest ... you see King David is now acting like a new kind of Royal Priest ... and Yahuah approves it!!! 

In fact Yahuah loves him so much that He promises David's that from his line will come a King who will reign forever and ever and will build the ultimate NEW EDEN - a grand Temple for Alahim's presence (Ezekiel's visions are all about this New Ultimate Supernatural Temple - IE THE NEW JERUSALEM) ... So David is like a Prophet, a King and a Priest and also a Song Leader ... and he talks about this amazing promised descendant to come, in a song we call:

PSALM 110 (which Mark just read earlier).

David says that this future King will be a Royal Priest (just like Melchizedek - a Priesthood much older than Yisharal and their failed Priests). So why can't David be the promised Royal Priest? Because even though David was pretty amazing and he loved Yahuah so much, he also failed and did some terrible stuff. He slept with the wife of one of his soldiers and then in order to hide the whole affair he had the man killed.

So David began losing his anointing from Yahuah and his failures continued leading up to this key moment where Yisharal's enemies were threatening to attack. And sadly David doesn't trust Yahuah to deliver him like he did in his early days ... instead he counts all of his soldiers (trusting in his own man-power instead). So Yahuah is furious and brings severe consequences on Yisharal (sickness, plagues and curses) and David finally responds by surrendering to Yahuah and by offering his own life up as a substitute sacrifice on behalf of the people (just like Moses offered himself for the sins of the people, and also Abraham, who was willing to offer up his only son too).

CAN YOU SEE THE PATTERN HERE? It's this pattern that leads us to the story of Yahusha, because He claimed to be the promised Royal Priest that all of these other shadow-teachings pointed to ... the ONE Who will bring the blessings of Eden back and restore humans to their lost calling ... to FULFIL Yahuah's promises to Abraham and David ... but in a completely NEW,  bizarre and unpredictable way!

The only way for Yahuah to ensure that His ultimate chosen Royal Priest would not succumb to the sinful nature of mankind (with it's corruptible seed) was to become the Royal Priest Himself metamorphing into a perfect human being with no sinful nature (possessing perfect divine blood) in order to lay His life down). 

So at the time Yahuah was reborn (as Yahusha), the people of Yisharal were ruled by the Roman Empire, but they were governed by their own local Priests - a bunch of con-artists and carpet-baggers (who put a thick curtain up in front of the set-apart Place in the Temple - even though at this time there was no Ark or presence of Yahuah in there, for He had divorced His harlot Bride Yisharal and abandoned her Temple forever).

The High Priest at this time was a man named Caiaphas and he is the one who currently represents the people before Yahuah ... but then Yahusha comes onto the scene and when we're introduced to Him, He's outside of Jerusalem at the Jordan River getting immersed - and the skies open up and a voice says

"You are My Son Who I love ...

with You I Am very pleased" ...

And these words blend together three statements from the Hebrew Scriptures all about the coming Royal Priest who will be the King that Yahuah promised from the line of David and also the beloved son like Isaac was to Abraham. And He'll be the suffering Royal Servant of Isaiah who offers up His life and dies for the sins of His people.

Yahusha's Immersion is like His Anointing as a Royal Priest, so it's no surprise that right afterwards ... Yahusha starts going around acting like a Priest ... He forgives people of their sins, heals those who are sick and impure, restoring them so they can enter the Temple again.

Remember that these are all the things that only the Priests who worked in the Jerusalem Temple were supposed to be doing - but Yahusha is doing it outside their authority and so they start to see Him as a threat (just like today) ... which leads to a story where Yahusha goes up with some friends to a high mountain and there, He's transformed and He starts shining and all of His clothes become pure white  ... and this is like the vision that Moses (and others) saw of the High Priest ... the Perfect Royal Priest.

Yahusha is being revealed right here as the Ultimate Royal Priest and it's here that Yahusha also decides to go to Jerusalem (even though He knows that He'll get killed) and rides in on a donkey. Everyone throws down palm branches crying out 'Hosanna Hosanna' and Yahusha challenges the authority of the current Priesthood by storming in and disrupting the sale of the animal sacrifices, showing them that He's the real Priest in charge and that their 'House of Prayer' is nothing but a marketplace and `Den of Thieves'.

Later Yahusha is asked "Who do you think you are?" So He responds by quoting from PSALM 110 ... and this is the same song where King David speaks of someone that he calls his master ... someone greater than him who will rule as a Royal Priest forever! Yahusha is claiming that He is that Priest, which makes the Priests and Pharisees furious ... so they have Yahusha arrested and put Him on trial before Caiaphas the High Priest, who asked Yahusha, "Are you the anointed one?" and what he means is "Are you the Royal Priest? Because right now that's my job!" 

Yahusha responds once more by quoting PSALM 110, saying "I AM and you are going to see Me ruling in all authority as Alahim!" But actually we're about to see Yahusha get killed! So how is that ruling as a High Priest forever?

Remember the pattern of the Priestly King (Abraham, Moses, David) who surrenders himself as a sacrifice? Yahusha is saying that offering His life for others is the way that He is going to ascend to His Royal Throne ... and when Yahusha dies, the curtain in the Temple tore in two (revealing no Ark and no presence in this man-made structure)...

However Alahim's own life-presence and the blessings of Eden that were once guarded and separated (once veiled) can now fly out of Yahusha's broken bodily Temple to fill all of His New Creations and when Yahusha comes alive from the dead He appears to His Disciples and tells them to go out to all the nations and proclaim what's happened and that they can share the good news that He is the ruling King and Royal Priest ... Alahim!! ... Who is going to restore the blessings of Eden!

This is why (in Hebrews) Paul calls Yahusha `The New Adam' for He is inviting us back into Eden to become like Him so that we can take up our lost calling of being His Royal Priests again - a New Royal Priesthood that is made up of Yahusha's followers from every Tribe, Tongue and Nation - made alive from a Divine Heart Operation (new heart and new spirit) with the portal-power of His Incorruptible Spirit which writes His living words on our new clean heart.

Isn't Yahusha amazing! Shifting the location of His Bride and Temple (right out from under the noses of all those wicked religious folk) ... carrying the Living Dwelling Place around in His own body. And now we are that Living Dwelling ... learning how to behave like the Kings and Royal Priests that we are ... servicing our Living Temples through sacrifice, offerings and following Yahusha's example through the Feasts.

So ... all the older-shadow figures lead us to Yahusha - the ultimate Super-Duper Royal Priest who suffered and died for a failed humanity, so that those He calls and chooses may be restored to their original calling as Royal Priests! He did this by taking His perfect blood into the Divine Throne room, appearing as a spotless lamb to cleanse the Heavenly Temple and boot Satan out - never to return ... then opening the seven-sealed conclusion of His Word (which mainly deals with WHO YAHUSA IS and what will happen to those who follow Him to their death ... and those who don't.

About a month after Yahusha rose from the dead, His followers saw Him ascend into the skies, where He went through the invisible seam of the dimensions and was installed onto the throne of Heaven as our Divine Royal Priest and Alahim in all authority and power!

Yahusha also told His followers to wait for His helping Spirit to come and guide them into the future, and so during the Feast of Pentecost in Jerusalem, Yahusha's Spirit came down onto them with fire ... like they're all each little mini Temples, filled with His esteem. What a fulfilment!!

Remember how Yahuah rested His Name and took up residence in Moses' Tabernacle ... in David's Tent and later in Solomon's Temple? Well now He dwells within His Chosen Royal Priests and their bodies are now the Temples of the Portal.

Peter experienced these tongues of fire and he later explained it by saying that we are all Living Stones, fitted together and built up into a New Spiritual/Supernatural House (assembly/fellowship) and also that we are now a Royal Priesthood! So we are not only Yahusha's New Temples, but also the Royal Priests ... reclaiming that lost calling that Yahuah gave humanity ... to represent Him and work with Him in ruling the world ... a New Heaven and Earth with no actual Temple or even sun or moon ... for Yahusha Alahim (the Lamb) is the shekinah light! 

So (right in a resentful, wicked Yisharal's face) Yahusha was restoring the life and blessing of Eden to His New Blood Covenant Royal Priests ... but how can this be? These people weren't real Priests (and alot weren't even Hebrews/Jews)... they were just merchants and fishermen ... soldiers and slaves ... tax collectors, prostitutes and the poor scum of the earth (normal people just like we are) ... they worked out in the dirty old world just like we do ... not in Temples?!

And yet after Yahusha's Spirit came into them, they began talking and behaving as if they were Priests ... they believed that Yahusha was the Divine Royal Priest ruling all of Creation as His Temple. Yahusha is the head and they saw themselves as an extension of Him here on earth (like His body) ... Isn't that a beautiful IMAGE?

But what does it actually look like? How does it really work? Well ever since David's Praise Tent, any time you went to the Temple in Jerusalem you would hear the singers and musicians playing Psalms and singing poetry that honored Alahim and telling the stories of His love.

You see, music was like a bridge between Heaven and Earth, so the followers of Yahusha started writing and singing New Songs (New Psalms about Yahusha) as part of their Priestly calling and Praise Sessions. The older Priests also surrendered their whole lives over to Alahim in order to perform sacrifices for the nation ... so likewise, these New followers of Yahusha started surrendering themselves also ... their time, their money, their energy, their bodies and lives ... to serve those around them in need ... bringing forth the fruits of Yahusha's Spirit (through their behavior) knowing that those are the sacrifices that bring pleasure to Yahusha.

This is why Paul called on the believers living in Rome to 'offer their bodies as one single 'Living Sacrifice' ... Wow! Yahusha offered His life in the ultimate act of love and so they too were to surrender themselves to Yahusha by hearing and doing what He said.

This is the Royal Priesthood all `blinged up shiny' (Yahusha-style) ... so when people get a New Heart and a New Spirit within them and begin imitating Yahusha's behavior (as Royal Priests) they too become a New Creation (following Yahuah's cocooned, transforming example through the Feasts) - living in a way that reunites Heaven and Earth for others, through the Portal of the Ark on their hearts ...

And so we can see how all the Scripture is one unified story about a Royal Priestly Family that lost its way to Satan, and then their deliverance through blood. Through the stories of Abraham, Moses and David we saw the old blood of bulls and goats, pointing forward to Yahusha - the promised Priest-King, Whose Divine and Perfect New Blood would be shed to cleanse and restore us.

See how this all led up to Yahusha our Great High Priest, Who suffered on our behalf, to restore us to our calling as His Bridal Royal Priests? ... And so this is why on the final pages of the Scripture there's a vision of a New Divine City on a New Earth ... with humans serving and ruling as Yahusha's Royal Priests forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Did you know that we are living in Prophetic History as the sixth day ends and Yahusha returns to make all things New and usher in the Eternal Marriage Supper of the Lamb? ...... To finally be consummated with those taking hold of their New Firstfruit Birthright and behaving as Royal Priests (after the order of Melchizedek) - offering up their fleshly lives in service to Yahusha, hearing His voice and bringing all the words of Scripture (not just the 10 Commands) into a New and Living Expression of Loving Behaviour ... and making their garments white! HalleluYah !

EVERYTHING WE FAILED AT AND COULD NEVER BECOME THROUGH AARON'S LEVITE PRIESTS (AND OLD COVENANT WORDS & SHADOWS) WE CAN OVERCOME, ATTAIN AND ACHIEVE THROUGH THE POWER OF NEW COVENANT BLOOD AND AN ENDLESS LIFE ... AS MELCHIZEDEK PRIESTS OF YAHUSHA ALAHIM !!
